i don't think anything in my rotation over the last many years is avant-garde. i also don't fully know what qualifies as avant-garde though so i could be wrong about that

what i do know is:

1: the self-titled and pinkerton are wonderful
2: everything after the hiatus is unnecessary
3: weezer need to come to grips with the fact that although their irrelevance is now a (late!) teenager, they all ceased to be one a very long time ago
