like pretty much every other release they've put out in the last 10-15 years i'm fucking obsessed

it was advertised as ulver's take on pop, which i guess isn't that far off the mark, but it also isn't really out of the ordinary for post-millenium ulver, either. in that it's brilliantly executed, but trades cues from coil for stuff like depeche mode. it's wonderful and the track above is the climax of the album and is a perfect song and i have been completely spellbound by it for the last week and change

still waiting for the physical release to get up in my mailbox though

nah i never got a boxset of theirs, i have a deathspell omega and misery signals vinyl boxsets which cost a buttload.

ulver did a boxset with an art book for the first three albums, they are the only ones i think that I dont have on vinyl

when i have the others thats not true, dont have original pressing of basically all of them, dont have some of the multiple pressings and dont have the last 2-3 releases because i basically dont follow music closely enough

nah dude, since i moved out from my parents, i havent the room for my vinly player and they cost alot of money to keep collecting,

aye i've had to slow down my purchases because i'm getting to the point where i'm not going to have enough space for them once my current storage cube is full. having to cram all of my worldly possessions into one room is tricky

brother, i am with you on all fronts

every couple releases or so it occurs to me that ulver are hands down one of the greatest musical acts of our generation

experience with all of the rest of my musical idols suggests that this is not a pattern that should repeat over the course of 20+ years

and yet it does

i accidentally spelled this "ceaser" because that is the name of a cast member on a reality show i write about

when i started writing about that show i constantly spelled his name "caesar" and had to correct myself

i just now got around to listening to this. the album is good but somehow none of the other songs on the album are as good as nemoralia to me, that song is amazing

I remember seeing the Ulver live show at Roadburn where this album was in the spotlight.

honest to god this album has always felt like an EP to me, it's the shortest 44 minutes i've ever experienced (600 times over)
