your first concert/show/etc.
where, who, when.
worcester centrum, moody blues, 1987. i was four, maybe five years old at the time. we had dinner at papa ginos at the worcester galleria beforehand, the concert was a surprise for myself and my older brothers. i slept through most of the show, apparently this was a pretty improbable task according to my parents. jack bruce opened and i am told he was very loud

Deftones/White Zombie/Pantera at The Meadowlands in 1997...and I went with my mom at the very last minute because the fellating lover who was supposed to come with me couldn't go due to her mother being a supreme bitch. Mom had a good time and got a nice contact high from all the second hand ganj smoke.
Pantera were also my second concert a few months later. I had bruises all over my forearms and shins from being pressed up against the metal guardrails. Good teenager times.

Re: your first concert/show/etc.
Of course my first ever show was some local band back then but my first true show of a recognized band was Rage Against The Machine back in '97. I was 11 years old and my grunge-grown cousin took me with him. It was in a sports arena so the sound was really packed in house. I was deaf for like 2 days after that. :mmm:

Metallica in Zwolle the Ijsselhallen 1990. I was 18, my brother went with me. Dio opened. Google says they played this <!-- m -->http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/metallica ... 6debc.html<!-- m --> I remember I was surprised by the crowd, I knew nothing of pits. I was just standing there, when Metallica started I swirled in all directions and ended up close to the stage

My first concert was in 2004 or 2005 it was an outdoot festival (In August, in Texas 100 degree heat) where a bunch of notso great bands played like 30 Seconds to Mars, Alterbridge, and a bunch of others I got asked to go by a fellating lover and went to see Chevelle...Billy Idol and I think Stained were headlining but we didn't stay for them because my dad also went for some band I can't remember and he didn't like the fact that shit was getting thrown around us (beer and frozen icee shit were being thrown over our heads) so we all left early.

Marilyn Manson, L7 (Dead To The World tour)
February 18, 1997 in Troy, NY at the RPI Fieldhouse.
It was my first show and three days after losing my virginity. There was a bomb threat that delayed the show an hour or two.
This is not counting the innumerable open mics and outdoor farmers market sets Ive witnessed growing up.

I will also answer for my son. While in the womb, he witnessed, albeit muffled, two of my previous bands, The Jabbers, Skinless, countless local bands, Enslaved, Dark Funeral, Abigail Williams, and (I was not present) a Family Values Tour (Korn, Deftones, whoever the gayfuck else), 69 Eyes, 3 Inches of Blood and Cradle of Filth.
