interesting, it is a little more restrained than i would have guessed given the teaser yesterday. it sounds like 50s pop radio spun with a punk's energy and aesthetic (so, jorsh, basically)

the vocals are an even bigger part of their sound than on like clockwork

this song is kinda underwhelming to be honest

i wrote a response to that but it disappeared

basically i agree, i don't think it's a bad song but it reminds me of i sat by the ocean in that it is not adventurous

the chorus vocals are fan-fucking-tastic though

I wanna jam the whole album now

i do too, everything else looks a bit at the moment

after looking at the tracklisting and the song lengths i am right damn intrigued. there are only two pop-length songs on the whole album, the rest are battleships like i appear missing and better living through chemistry and such. but the dance influence will not be denied

i guess it's possible they picked up a riff or two from those old days and turned them into something new but it's highly unlikely. jorsh is all about forging ahead (and god bless him for that)

i think the entire desert sessions concept is pretty well dead at this point
