Say what you will about Kerry King, but I think it's pretty amazing that he takes the time to post on this message board.

I think I was implying that for some reason Kerry has a tenuous grasp of Slayer's music. It seemed funny at the time. That's 5AM for you

Spirit in Black
Stain of Mind (I would hate an entire album like this, but Slayer doing a hard rock song worked surprisingly well here)

Re: Your three favourite Slayer songs from the gloryhole era
Even though I wasn't aware that there was controversy over that song I was originally going to include a comment on how weird gloryhole era Slayer is for me, with Stain of Mind being the example to illustrate my point. It would have basically amounted to the idea that several of the standout songs to me are the ones where they injected their signature style into the subtleties of top whatever radio from that time.
In general I'm not a huge fan of the outcome, but it did result in some very unique and legitimately solid music that I think is in league with their golden age material.

Re: Your three favourite Slayer songs from the gloryhole era
Also I don't recommend reading much or anything that Kerry King has to say, but after doing quite a bit of that earlier (I got on a roll and couldn't stop) I will say that it is refreshing to see that he has a strong track record of honestly stating when the band released a crappy song or album, and what was wrong with it, and in some cases how they could fix it.
