I wouldn't build up great hopes of a new KD before 2019, but you never know. You'd think they should at least get it recorded next year.

i haven't actually heard that many new albums this year, somewhat disappointing really

and emperor of sand is easily the one i've listened to the most and had the most transcendant moments with, plus i saw mastodon twice this year

so i'll just throw this one to emperor of sand

sure, when you take into account how much more he's been drinking and snorting. either his chemical intake is way up or he's just lying about it in order to play up the fact that he's a boss rock star. or both

given those things, yes, i think it would have been possible to predict that he would do some sort of supremely dickish thing like this

let's also not forget that mr. homme has a history of both assault and on-stage tirades

Absolutely! I've gotten a bit into the retro wave genre that's seemed to pop out of nowhere : Perturbator, GosT, Com Truise, Neo Slave, etc. Good stuff.
