the way i see tool now is the same way how i view them 20 years ago. there are times when i'm in a mood for their music and i'd marathon opiate up until 10,000 days on my everyday playlists and sometimes (like right now) i don't listen to them at all simply because i'm not in the mood

Vicarious, Jambi, The Pot, Rosetta Stoned, Right in Two all great tracks. Not as good as the previous 3 but still

off the top of my head, and with at least eight or nine years since i last listened to this album, i would say that jambi and the pot are the two bestest songs, and that the pot is my favorite

wings for marie / 10,000 days is a good one, but too overblown to carry the kind of weight it seems like they want it to

lost keys / rosetta stoned has neat parts in it

right in two is disappointing, those lyrics lack luster

vicarious is boring, this song did not age well for me at all

and viginti tres i don't remember in the slightest

:santa:

The entire song is basically a build up to the climax at 8:39. Then you proceed to jizz everywhere , as appropriate and go :thingy:

I have come to the conclusion that the new record sounds much more closer to Lateralus than 10,000 Days. Which may or may not be a good thing. I think it's a good thing.
