any of y’all hoes heard of this band vein? They put out their debut earlier this year and just discovered them last week. They’re from Boston, so naturally the main genre is metallic hardcore ala converge, cave in, botch, etc but interestingly, they do have some nu metal elements mainly the phat grooves although they are sporadic and some clean whiny singing in a few spots.

The only reason I heard of them is the album was on quite a few top ten lists for the year. I dig them a bunch

i actually did listen to this around the time it came out, it's interesting. haven't really fully formed an opinion on it, i've been meaning to go back and listen again. my first impression was that i think they're probably the only band doing anything worth listening to as far as a new generation carrying the nu-metal torch (and is far, far better than its forebears in that vein).
