a couple times a year i get the bug and jam nothing but it for a few weeks. right now im in that period, in this period. the roots and jedi mind tricks are the musical artists of choice. hell anything vinnie paz related really...jmt, army of the pharaohs, heavy metal kings, and his solo stuff. hes one of the few artists metal or otherwise where i dont dislike really anything that hes done. it helps his cred that hes a metal/punk fan as well. the roots are always great too

Re: hip hop fans?
I wouldn't really call myself a hiphop fan. In fact, I loathed the hell out of that genre during my youth. I still find most hiphop to be repulsive but I do like a few tunes that I've heard from my friends.
I still like this here tune though.

KRS-1 has some good stuff. I also like E40. Probably the most realistic hip hop that can be achieved.
