i did, on thursday night! it was cold and rainy and they took their sweet time getting the line moving but i wasn't bothered. very metal crowd despite them not having put out a metal album in 20 years. first US show ever baby, no way i was gonna settle for that friday business. just from chatting with random people and overhearing conversations, there was a very sizable non-local contingent in attendance.

they did the entirety of assassination + sic transit and the live arrangements for everything were just incredible. coming home closed out the main set and they turned it into like a 20 minute extended jam, it was so so good

it was easily one of the best shows i've been to, top three all time no question. maybe the very best

my time in NYC was just so, so good all around
