I think the proggy elements do a lot for this band. I would be surprised if there was a return to form on this record but either way its exciting hear this news.

Listening to the record at the moment.

It’s really fucking good actually. :xx:

I didn’t care for any Opeth after Watershed but this one is great. Not sure why they also made a Swedish version though... this album has more Pink Floyd vibes than previous Rush/prog vibes.

The Swedish version is the original version. He only did it in English after the Swedish one was recorded for mass appeal.

I skipped around the album but I need a full listen. Soon.

Liked three songs. Continuum, Lovelorn and All Things Must Pass. The rest are the usual modern Wankpeth.

Just listened to the entire album. It’s the best post watershed album no doubt. I like it quite a bit except for universal truth.

Even though I enjoy it it gives me the urge to listen to damnation and the mellower parts of the older songs still.
