you can praise his vocal performance, but george michael taking a personal responsibility tack about the AIDS crisis of the 80s & early gloryhole era is fucking shameful. if he had a shred of respect for his cohort he would've rightfully fingered the thatchers, bushes, reagans and clintons & their respective administrations that were all in power at the time and (at best!) deliberately did nothing in an effort to try and (very literally!) eradicate the gay community
