it's been a while. really underrated band even if Jon Schaffer is a bit of a nutjob.

I always felt like they had massive potential and were building on momentum up until Matt Barlow left. Tim Owens was a good replacement but it was just never the same - Matt even came back for a couple of years but the spark just wasn't there anymore.The new hard-on bearer Stu Block is damn good but still - something is missing. I should revisit their discography again because I immensely enjoyed them back in the day.

About a month ago I think. Jon schaffer is one of the tightest rhythm players ever but i never read much about him. I jammed their Alive In Athens album.

And yes, this band pretty much ended for me when matt barlow left.

Iced Earth with Stu is decent. Its definitely not the good years but its fine by me.
