Yeah it’ll officially be up for us at midnight. It’s out in New Zealand and Australia now. Super weird it’s the first single and the closing track in the record. I think the cover art is meh overall. So so pumped. Terry fucking Date!

This track is sooo fucking good. Jesus Christ. Terry being back really makes a massive difference. The main riff is catchy as shit. Chinos vocal production reminds me of s/t. His tone.

Checked this out of curiosity to hear what do they sound like today since I still see them as the Around The Fur/White Pony Deftones. And I definitely did hear what I was expecting so no surprise there. So since when did they start to sound like that?

Man I'm really digging this, its something different from them. Chinos vocals are perfect and fit the song, and in a way I'm hoping he sings like this on the whole album, his screams just really dont fit with the band anymore

Yeah it took me until about listen 4 or 5 to really gasp it. That Terry Date production though. And Chino sounds better than he has in a long time. The other tracks I heard are heavier and there was screams. But they sounded great imo. Still perplexed why they chose the closing track as the single and video though

It’s Terry and the production. Also, a massive part is Steph being a lot more involved again. I honestly think Ohms will be their best album since self titled. I’m pretty sure of it. At least for me.

It’s been confirmed the next single is Genesis, the opening track on the album. It’s one of the 4 leaked tracks I have and it’s a heavy deftones track with Chino going off in the verses. But it’s not scheduled to debut until the 18th. 2 more weeks. Idk why they’d wait until just one week before the album to release the second single. So dumb.

s/t is their most underrated for sure. I remember being massively disappointed with it coming off the heels of white pony. I was mixed on it for years. Then it just “hit” one day and it’s been becoming more and more listened to. Now it’s my second favorite deftones record. Every single track is great. Yes, even Lucky You.
