Watched Dino on Rob Flynn's podcast the other day, and he found out about Burton's exit then and there. Went into detail as to what happened. Fucking legal problems.

It seems this time there is no going back, but given burton has quit the band 3 times, and the history of band, a year from now anything could happen

But if dino does choose to find a new singer, and make a record after monolith, it will be weird but I would still reserve judgement until I heard it

I'm open to them getting a new vocalist, but I have the feeling it's going to be a similar situation to what went down with Cryptopsy after Once Was Not.

Yeah I would give it a listen, but I'll know it's just his solo project and wont really think of it as a ff album, but could still be enjoyable. I think it should be an unknown singer as well not someone who is well established in the music biz
