Geez.



Opeth's first three albums had a lot of good music but anything they've released over the last few years just comes off as entirely too pretentious and boring. I'm not saying they suck or anything like that because they really are talented musicians and I give them props for that but their recent stuff makes me want to go to sleep.

i agree



i was going to see them tuesday with enslaved but i didnt because of work, but from what i hear, it was a fucking snoozefest with mostly recent opeth songs

I saw Enslaved many years ago and they were great.



Enslaved and Opeth were here last Friday but I didn't go. The tickets were $30.00 and apparently Enslaved only played four songs. :oldryan: I wasn't about to spend that much plus whatever else for drinks and merch just for one band.
