Alice in Chains

Post by Haunty »

Let us discussion the win that is Alice in Chains. I've been jamming Dirt a bunch lately; Stayley had such an incredible voice. :tear:

Alice In Chains have and will always be one of my all-time favorite bands ever.

And as for Mr. Staley... <!-- m -->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEeFNvvR-ng<!-- m --> :tear:

i think ive been the only one that has faith that the new one will be a bad ass record. sure laynes voice will be missing, and it will be sad, but musically it will be another great alice in chains record. jerry's vocals will be there and from interviews it seems like he will be more involved vocal wise, and duvall has a good singing voice in his own right. everybody will be liking it when its released...

I agree. Cantrell did enough of the singing in the first place that it won't be as weird as everyone thinks. You still can't touch Layne Staley though. Either way, it's going to be a lot better than 99% of the shit that's put out nowadays, especially on rock radio.

And then there's the sonic abortion that is the band Godsmack. :piss1:

the only people I know who listen to this are douchbags, therefore i equate their music with douchbaggery. hence, i don't like it at all. I'll see myself out of this thread now.

Ryan and I are not douchebags. Therefore, your logic is fatally flawed.

I will be anticipating the new album and I have faith that it will win somewhat. If Jerry's gonna be more vocally involved with it, then that's a good sign. Sure, most AIC fans know that Layne has always been the heart of AIC's vocals (and maybe the entirety of AIC itself) but one does not discount Mr. Cantrell's voice for sure. 'Brother' is one of my all-time favorite vocal performances ever. :idea:

As for Teresa, I am very disappointed with you. :frown:

I only say it because as far as I know nobody has met either in person, so non-doubchebaggery cannot be determined for sure

Ryan cannot be a douchebag, because he listens to Alice in Chains, the subject of this thread. This logic is flawless.
