gibson had a limited-run les paul a few years ago with auto-tuning function, but i believe that was hardware based, and of course quite expensive. that would be the only viable kind of system for me personally (although i'd just as well avoid either one altogether). the software-based AT on the peavey is cool as a novelty, but but it's not going to be usable for anything serious. i'm certain if you had your hands on it, even doing something as modest as a full step down would sound unnatural.



plus the guitar itself is probably a piece of shit. it's only $500, so you know they probably slapped that tech on something that would otherwise compete with squier strats.
