Thinking about buying one. What do youz guyz use?
I have never owned one, I've always plugged straight into my soundcard and used a program called AP Tuner - <!-- m -->http://www.aptuner.com/cgi-bin/aptuner/apmain.html<!-- m -->

i use an application on my phone

I have this planet waves thing clipped onto mine:
Works really well and it's practically invisible and weightless, haven't changed the battery it came with in a year. But I have heard it might get interference from background noise if you're in a really loud place like a band practice/gig, since it uses a piezoelectric thingy. It's dirt cheap though, so it's probably worth having as a backup on its own.

yeah my guitar teacher has one of those, i used it during my lessons. it can get a bit twitchy from time to time, especially if there's any background noise, but it worked pretty well.
