what tuning(s) do you use?
i was on standard when i started playing guitar and played that for the longest time then i went half step down to Eb for a few months and then brought it to a whole step down to D standard although i didn't stay there for long
i've now tuned back up to Eb and i think this is really the tuning that i want, it's got that dark 'oomph' of D standard plus the sharp attack of E standard
when i get a 7 string, i'll probably tune it to half step down as well

Re: what tuning(s) do you use?
I stayed tuned to standard E for probably 4-5 years in the beginning
then I tuned to Eb for probably 2'ish years
then slowly progressing to lower tuning over the years.
for the last year or two i've been tuning to C and i absolutely love it. this is probably the lowest I'll go with this guitar.

Re: what tuning(s) do you use?
once i discovered that all my favorite bands used lowered tunings, i pretty much went that way and stuck with it. it's always been C and B standard, drop A when I'm feeling sassy. E, Eb, and D are visited on occasion but meh

Exactly this. My RG420 is in C.
My acoustic is in Eb and I want to pick up a second electric to keep in E.

Re: what tuning(s) do you use?
I have two guitars, one of them is tuned to C# standard and the other one is in standard E tuning (it's a 7-string though so I got the extra B-string).
I also have two 5 stringed bases where one is tuned to C# standard (with an extra low G# string) and the other one is in E standard (+B-string).
Makes sense, doesn't it?

D standard, or A standard on my 7 string. I also have my ironbird in drop C for the time being for the learning of Arsis tunes.
