So I've finally setup Reaper with Superior Drummer 2.0. My Line 6 POD XT Live multifx connected via USB to my computer acts as the sound card that my DAW is using. Everything seems to be working and now I need to learn how to make MIDI tracks. If my understanding on this whole recording thing is correct, to make drum tracks you first need to make MIDI tracks that you will then transfer to SD which will then translate the MIDI data into drum sounds...did I get that right?
So does anyone know how to make MIDI tracks? Or does anyone know where to get some of said?

Build your tracks like this. Then export as midi files. Then import into superior.
Then edit like so:

toontrack have tons of midi groove packs you can buy, pretty good for looping and jamming over then editing yourself.
