i am mostly content with my shoe inventory at this point and have moved my attention onto clothing proper, however this is forcing me to reassess my priorities :homework:

my only experience with ibanez is the RG350M (which i got from lavabug), how much better is the rg550 model?

i believe the RG350s were all made in indonesia and have the wizard II neck, so basically worse build quality, cheaper hardware, and a fat neck.

i've had an MIJ RG570 for close to 20 years and nothing can touch it in terms of playability, the RG550 is spec'd almost identically except it looks a lot cooler :santa:

Those reissued 80s RGs come with super wizard necks. I wonder how they compare to the original wizard necks. I'm really down for that fixed bridge prestige though.

the neck profile should be identical, it's just a five-piece as opposed to the original one piece
