i am mostly content with my shoe inventory at this point and have moved my attention onto clothing proper, however this is forcing me to reassess my priorities

an RFR rg550 would be neat to have, probably the most versatile 6 string thing ever made

my only experience with ibanez is the RG350M (which i got from lavabug), how much better is the rg550 model?

i believe the RG350s were all made in indonesia and have the wizard II neck, so basically worse build quality, cheaper hardware, and a fat neck.
i've had an MIJ RG570 for close to 20 years and nothing can touch it in terms of playability, the RG550 is spec'd almost identically except it looks a lot cooler

Those reissued 80s RGs come with super wizard necks. I wonder how they compare to the original wizard necks. I'm really down for that fixed bridge prestige though.

the neck profile should be identical, it's just a five-piece as opposed to the original one piece
