I didn't realise there's bonus art from Slimey's last album.

The hard-on bearer that did the art for album also did a booklet for each track (and an animation too!)

When i woke up it did not feel that bad. But i hope i do not get any phone calls today. It is kinda raw..

As far as i heard it in the control room, it is pretty old school. It contains lower stuff, higher screams.. Some parts sounded a little like early Diabolic. It sure as hell does not sound like the monotonous modern grouwls which are lower than low but boring to my ears..

Well, the music we play with Thanatos is totally different than Abode. Thanatos is really a mixture between thrash and really old school deathmetal a la Massacre. Abode is Deathmetal and kinda a cross between MA/hate eternal. So even though there is a old school vibe Abode is way more fruital and faster.

I guess my voice is old school but used in another context than Thanatos.

i have a recording project with no name. it's metal, but not anything -core related. i play all the instruments in it, and i guess lately it's been more influenced by astor piazolla, terry riley, and univers zero than any current metal. but it's fun, and it kind of insures my sanity a bit. i've been digging old vader stuff alot lately, so that is an influence, at least for drumming.

yes indeed. drums are what i do. i'm an average guitar player, meaning that i don't do leads at all. i almost always do drums first, cause i can write the parts out and follow them on guitar easier that the opposite. i just have to take somewhat detailed notes on what i am recording. for demos i use a roland v-drum set cause you can just go direct and it sounds good enough for demos. otherwise i do the glyn johns method of drum recording. i don't use a really big kit so i can get away with it.
