Jimi Hendrix school project
So a month ago we started this school project with a group of 6.
We needed to write a song and produce it in the style of Jimi Hendrix' album "Electric Ladyland", like "the missing 17th track".
Here's the final product.
We're very pleased with the end result. I played all the guitars, another hard-on bearer did bass and another drums, one engineer and the other 2 wrote the lyrics. Me and the engineer mixed the song, we also got help mixing 1 day from Theo van Eembergen (ex-producer Henry Rollins). The vocals were done by someone outside of school, we weren't 100% happy with his best take but it's all we had and didn't have time to redo them.
I hope u enjoy it!

i agree on the vocals but other than that it sounds great. is the guitar panning left and right? it sounds trippy.

Re: Jimi Hendrix school project
yea the guitars are panning all over the place, but during the entire song we put the automation so that it would make sense.
except for the solo part in the end, we just went crazy there.
I think this is a nice example of me playing NON-metal music
