The then new album was also rumored back then to be titled: 'Half of Hate Eternal'
I saw this line up live in 2001 in Nighttown Rotterdam and they were great!

Yeah. One of the best MA show I've seen. I really liked Jared. (maybe even better than Steve)
Are there any complete shows out there with him? I'd love to watch those..

I used to have a videotape with 3 or 4 songs from somewhere in 2001 but it disapeared

I always wondered why Erik never did vocals (or at least backup-vocals) for MA.

Re: MA with Jared
I had an audio bootleg of a Jared era show... I remember sending it to Vahmpy. The audio quality wasn't a 10/10, but it definitely caried alot of power and some of Erik's solos sounded absolutely fucking massive.
Voidy; You should upload this on one of those file share websites or something, i'd like to get it back again

I actually agree on this one. I love erics solos on albums, definatly. I think he's got a very unique style, and you can hear that he is trying to develope his own style. But it's bad live often, his abillity to improvise is not the greatest.

I liked Jared too and thought his voice sounded more fruital then Steve's. He also had a pretty fruital stage presence, and seemed more 'evil' then Steve. He also played his bass very vertical, like a doublebass, which I haven't seen often.
Are there any complete shows out there with him? I'd love to watch those..
Yes I have 2 complete shows from 2001 and one or more audiobootlegs somewhere. The forementioned audiobootleg is short but sounds great btw. Nice shoutouts to the crowd also.
They played as support for Pantera back then and MA also lived for a period of time in one of Phil Anselmo's houses. Phil also did Day of suffering with them.

Steve plays (played) very vertical too actually.
Jared is great but I don't think he beats F or G Tucker.

Rutan's style is so uniqe youtube can't handle it. Great vocals though! I really enjoyed that one, very agressive and powerful.

Yeah thats true, but Jared topped him just a bit
for the forementioned bootleg: check the Morbid Angel bootlegs topic. Hopefully the link works.

David Vincent actually composed this song.
That is great indeed, but I would like to hear Trey riffs+Rutan vocals. Think Rutan's fruital voice on like some Covenant or FFF song.
