The ancient ones, etc. I know Lovecraft, but which book should I start on? What do you recommend?

Oh! Mostly now you will find collections of his stories. I really enjoy What The Moon Brings, Azathoth, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, The Whisperer In Darkness, and Nyarlathotep.
Most Lovecraft collected works will have a nice smattering of Cthulhu Mythos therein.
