I've used the MetalZone for years and I'm growing really weary of it. I'm at a point where I want less buzzing flies and more fuzzy power, I suppose.

Skinno: :xx: and I also need to make a pedal board.

Hemorrhoid: modding a Boss pedal sounds like a really fucking fun project to embark on. Mostly these days I feel like I want to go with whatever fuzz neckred tells me to get.

I'll post pics later but right now I'm running a mesa triple recto through an egnater Armageddon cab, with a Morley Bad Horsie 2. I just purchased the Armageddon head, which has a built in isp Decimator, which removes the need for a noise suppressor, and I will replace the triple recto with that. I don't really care for it (the Mesa), but I got an amazing deal on it so, whatever.

My guitarist is using an Engl E530 preamp running through a peavey tube power amp into a jumbo Mesa Roadking cab, an isp Decimator, maxxon od808, and a crybaby wah, which I think he's going to be replacing with a morley.

Our drummer also has a krank something or other that we use when we don't feel like hauling Shane's Engl out to practice.

My main guitar is B.C. Rich Mark Rizzo signature series stealth, and Shane is using a Schecter Jeff Loomis signature series V.

Where does your band go for practice? Do you practice at a garage at someone's place or do you rent at some rehearsal space or something. And do you bring all that gear with you for practice?

We practice at the drummer's house. And no, most of it stays there, we usually take pedals and heads home though.

Cort's are actually pretty solid guitars.

I nearly got me a Cort fretless a few years back, but then found out I could get a fretless cheaper a mate at Fender.

Also, Slimey Things guitarist played a Cort and it was a great guitar!

and the other day, I saw that Jeff Berlin (fusion bassists, one of the big Wooten-like cats) is sponsored by Cort & has a sig model... which I found surprising.

I love my Cort but the action is too damn high and I can't lower it without getting fret buzz. Also the bridge is an old Khaler knock-off and I don't know if I could ever mod it.

I wish I had more info on it though, model, wood, etc. The neck-plate was replaced and the ID is gone forever. :(

I have played a handful of beautiful, beautiful 70s Guild acoustics, but never have I touched a Guild electric. I am curious as fuck as to the feel and sound.

Egnater Armageddon, this thing is a beast. Tons of balls, but very clear, and a fairly wide tonal range. The Guitar is a B.C. Rich Marc Rizzo signature series stealth. Not pictured is my Morley Bad Horsie wah. My rig is still a work in progress.

Image

My guitarist's rig. Engl e530 pre-amp running into a peavey classic 120 power amp. I'm not sure what the power conditioner thing is. Mesa jumbo Road King cab, and a Schecter Jeff Loomis signature V. He's also using a ISP Decimator noise gate (my egnater has one built in) and a maxxon od808 overdrive.
