Covenant Of Death Fanclub
I really hope the old fanclub will be brought back to life. Years ago Alan Moses (up until a certain point..) and Angela did a great job informing the fans by sending out newsletters and stuff. They really kept the fans informed. It's disappointing to see that nowadays the website hardly gets updated with info while years ago the fanclub sent out thousands of printed newsletters to fansakll over the world! It doesn't have to be info on the new album (although much appreciated...) but what the hell, throw some old / never before seen footage / photos on there. The MA fanbase is extremely loyal and sending out newsletters or updating the website every once and awhile is not too much to ask i think.
Here's an example of some of the newsletters they used to send out:

Re: Covenant Of Death Fanclub
i have to imagine this sort of thing is pretty much universally dead, especially for smaller bands like MA. it would have been pretty trivial to replace it with an online mailing list with essentially the same type of content/forma, but with the dearth of info over the last several years, that probably would've died off as well :|

this type of thing is dead these days, for obvious reasons.
as a kid it was so fun to get mail, of metal mail catalogues, fanzines & shit.
as awesome as the Internet is, this one thing that it ruined that i really enjoyed.

I'd love to but you'd need some kind of support from the band I suppose

I'd like it if they send out an e-mail newsletter or something similar. At least update the website every once and awhile with stuff. I mean, this has been on the MA website for ages:
Q: Why are there no current news on the "Lava Report" page?
A: There will be news SOON - please be patient. Any official announcement will be first posted here on MorbidAngel.com.

[quote name="alan moses"]well it's good to see some of my old newsletters have survived the ages!
never did see anything angela did after my unfortunate departure (for the fans - bottom line is my wife at the time stole the entire COD bank funds located in a Tampa branch of Barnett Bank, forcing me to turn my baby over to Trey).
thanks for the chance to login and state these things.

That sucks dude. Stll you did make a lot of people hppy with the COD. I hope I am not imposing, but if you feel you could share stuff from the early days please do. Photo's or whatever. There is a lot of stuff to be found on the internet from the later period. But so little from the early days..
All I have is clippings from old magazine's which were avaliable here at the time.
Do you still have versions of the old news letters? I've been searching for scans for a long time.

That's all I've got mate, one newsletter is only 1 page
I do have a copy of Morbidomaniac, a MA only fanzine made by a German hard-on bearer in the 90's. I've posted some stuff a few months ago for a hard-on bearer who was doing a proper biography. It's all B&W, half in German but it has some cool pix and info from the Covenant era if anyone's keen
