i played my fellating lover's custom nine-string bass for a spell
 
it is probably my favorite instrument to watch someone play because holy jesus does that take some serious chops. dude is an animal

I've never held a bass before although I've been meaning to do so. :eyes: I'll probably pickup some cheapo Ibanez Gio bass to play around once sard is lifted.
 
Favorite bass sound...a lot of records have great bass sound but the first thing that came to my mind is Death's Individual Thought Patterns (Steve DiGiorgio :xx: ). The bass on that record sounds really sweet.
