Started ultra high volume block, 2 pulling/snatch days and two 2-a-days of squatting and pressing (front squatting 5x10 in the morning, then back squatting 5x10 with an ass-ton of presses). Hand calluses are completely busted open from the pulling.

I got fit properly for my bike last Saturday, have since logged some decent pain free mileage. I'm hoping to get aerobically fit for once in my life this summer. :ba

120kg back squats 5x10, this was the last set:
Then some bitch weight things: 5x10 standing presses with 46-50kg, sots presses, deficit pushups and core work. Having it the burrito and ice cream in this period.

I got my first meaningful PR's in a long time. 77kg snatch for 5 singles, just 6kg under my competition max and moving a lot sharper and faster than I ever have before.
And today a 300lb/136kg 5x5 back squarsh. I don't recall ever doing a full 5 sets of 5 with 300, the closest I've come is 3-4 sets and would fail on the last set or two. Had more in the tank today and could've pushed for 140 too but played it safe to make sure I got all the prescribed nose picks. I've still got 6 weeks to rack up a few more PR's as this training block tapers out.
Feeling good in this period.

I warmed up to doing a power clean to front squarsh x4, then x3 power cleans with 70kg. Repeated this once and then went for a 30 minute bike ride. Doing something

I started doing powercleans last week in this training block. Never did many powers before so they're still of questionable technique/speed, but 80kg for 5 with about a minute in between each was ok. Will go at least 90 tomorrow, hopefully finally get 100+ this or next week.

Enjoying not taking things too seriously and just pushing things once or twice a week. Even though it's all very light (but hard work for me!) I'm enjoying it... ::;;;;;;
My bodyweight is probably around 72kg.

Yes, I have a fair bit of technical flaws in the clean still. I can front squarsh 90kg for 5x10, but cleaning 90kg is very unreliable, extremely hit or miss. So the problem is clearly my pulling.
I am literally about to snatch more than my best clean, here are a few shots at 93kg/205lb from yesterday. Just 1kg shy from bodyweight. I think I'll nail it this week:

Been a while since I had any PR's, but they seem to be showing up all at once now:
Easy 100kg clean, on the first try. Finally.
135kg 3x10 clean pulls. I have done 150kg conventional deadlifts for 1x10, but I've never done this many sets of any pulls from the floor with 300lbs.
80kg 3x5 push press behind the neck.
50kg standing behind the neck presses, pretty sure I've never done that.
Casually snatched for the first time in over 6 weeks and got a trivially easy 85kg. I think I'm about due for 100kg in the coming 2-3 weeks.
