After a war these Papuans count casualties and then kill among their group to settle scores. In this way making the number of dead even :bulb: This seems a fair deal, a tip for the UN maybe :bulb:

I've been re-reading parts of Blood Meridian after discussing it with a fellating lover at work. I should probably find out if he actually wants to borrow it because I always worry that when I lend someone a book they'll feel obligated to read it regardless of how much free time they have, and then for whatever reason before finally handing it off I always develop a strong desire to re-read it.

Some day I'll pull out a dictionary and look up the hundreds of words in that one that I've never even seen before (most are contextually obvious) but for now I'm content following the narrative on a basic level and being in awe over every aspect of the delivery.
