you equate gun ownership with guitar ownership, which i fear may tell me enough

Dusty gets it. A guitar was made for recreation. A gun was made for killing and not for recreational recreational purposes, that is a happy accident. Toy vs non-toy.

There are plenty of nonlethal gun replicas that shoot BB's that you could use for target practice in your own back yard for no cost or hazard to anyone else, and still dismantle just like the real thing. If those are the only two appeals of guns, why doesn't a high quality replica suffice?

In the US employers don't bother sorting out the correct fraction of your paycheck that goes to taxes, leaving workers to figure it out on their own or pay a private company to do the paperwork for them, so at the end of the year you get the excess that was taken from your paycheck due to this fuck up. Or in some cases, owe more.

Sometimes in the US you pay more taxes than you should have, and it gets refunded to you at the same time as everybody else. This is known as "tax season" and it is a huge marketing fiasco. Some people can even get an advance on their refund, and pay up to 20% of it to receive it immediately upon having their taxes sorted out by a "professional" whose job is to sell those advances for a nice commission, instead of waiting a couple of weeks to receive the entire refund.

Those people are what we call "morons" and I look forward to selling them many cell phones and accessories in a very short while :santa:

I'm surprised you own any. I've said it before and I'll say it again probably 100 more times, I'll never understand guns and literally everyone's infatuation with them. I feel like I'm alone in the world not owning any nor having shot any. Not even the smallest desire to. Is it small dick, big truck syndrome?

:necro:

Could you act like less of a child and stop pretending that proficiency with a rifle or a handgun is a completely useless endeavor? You are aware of hunters, marksmen, hobbyists, and just plain people who want to have a bigger boomstick than the dumbass who breaks into their homes with the intent to steal or do harm. You are aware that there are more guns than there are people in this fucking country. You're not getting some sort of tr00 kvlt prize for being excluded from the number of people who have been exposed to firearms.

Take an hour and some of that knuckle tattoo money and spend it, with a fellating lover, on a box of shells at your nearest firing range, and give it a try. You might be an ace at firing handguns or long rifles. It's pretty fun. :santa:

It's not infatuation any more than getting knuckle tattoos is an infatuation with remaining in the service industry sector of the workforce. You get 'em because you like 'em, and to hell with people who seem to know better than you do how you should spend your own money.

doesn't take much to set "gun enthusiasts" off. I'm not sure what prize you think I think I won  doesn't make any fucking sense.

I am aware there are more guns than people. Is that supposed to be a good thing? Not sure how that's relevant.

I don't plan on shooting anything any time soon except my dick up a hookers asshole

What kind of fantasy do you live in where you'll be at the ready with gun on hip if someone breaks into yours. I thought the responsible owners kept there's in a safe which also takes more time to open. Say you're in the shower when the break in occurs, do you have in on the bathroom counter with you? Do you carry it everywhere with you in the house? Say you have headphones cranked spanking it to gay midget scat porn or whatever you're into and don't hear the break in. If someone breaks into my place and I'm gunless I'd probably just laugh at the irony of how my shit life would end.

You reference my knuckle tattoos quite a bit. If you want I can get you the number for jorsh at dead rockstar and you can get your own. Ironically, and I'm not making this up, I asked him what was the last knuckle tattoos he did and he said the hard-on bearer had "love guns" on the top knuckles and "fish hard" on the lower knuckles. He also tattooed a smoking six shooter on the guys hand

i spend the majority of my time at my computer / in my bedroom and keep my gun on the back of my desk. in the event of a break-in i would hope there is enough noise to alert me, at which point i would go for my gun as fast as i could. i'm not just going to give up and let them have their way without a fight. if i can't make it to the gun i will grab whatever blunt object is closest.

Don't have a carry license for work. Maryland doesn't have open carry and is a shall issue state for concealed carry. The state is also trying to push a bill that if you have a medical weed card you can't own any guns.

We have no gun laws at all in Vermont. We also have very little gun related crime, so there's no need. I enjoy firearms. I enjoy shooting them. I enjoy the mechanics of how they function. But I feel the same way about cars and I had to prove I could be safe with one and use it properly before I could drive it.
