mah comrade, I bought tickets for the Pitt gig within 45 seconds of them going on sale. It'll be awesome to get to see them both again and not have to haul ass across the country to do so.
starspawn cd has had a death grip on my car spin collection for over a year so I had to buy the LP just to listen to it at home, they are that good imo. Their demos and EP are also fabulous releases.
I'm seeing spectral voice (they share 3 members of BI) this Thursday. Fantastic band if you like a more eclectic take on the 90's Finnish style of cavernous death/doom, with a few steps in the funeral doom direction.

i got completely hooked on starspawn shortly after making this thread, then became sad after seeing that they apparently produced/recorded the whole thing in analog but the vinyl run was sold out
if you know where i can get it at normal prices i will be indebted
SV has been on the to-do list as well since i remember you mentioning them alongside BI a number of times
soon

check darkdescent page, they're making the 4th or 5th repress of that album by now which is insane as it's less than 2 years old. They are $16-17 from the label and they repress frequently so I'd just follow DDR on social media for news on the repress.
There are a huge amount of price gougers for the album on discogs/ebay, even when there are represses readily available. Beware!

DDR is a small operation, and I think they press 500 of each color for most releases. They definitely struck gold with BI.

That's a bit too much good luck for you. Probably means you'll tear an achilles or something a few days before the show.

everyone should go see this, absolutely killer tour package
blood incantation did a couple tracks off starspawn, a couple demo tunes and a new song, which you can find at about 27 minutes in on this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84dDoX2J40g
demilich were phenomenal and played for over an hour, covering most of nespithe and some demo stuff as well
