As per http://ibanez.wikia.com/wiki/RG570_(1995%E2%80%931997)
Lo-pro edge - check
MIJ - check
But only the Japan models have the Wizard neck. The USA models have the Wizard II neck. Not sure if that would be an issue for yinz. If not, I say go for it.
Also that looks like the same axe the guitarist of Inveracity is using in this video *shines the lavabug signal*

Re: hey ibanez people
wizard 2 would be a dealbreaker for me, but if you don't need the paper-thin original wizard neck it's a great guitar.
i couldn't tell you if it's a good deal as i have no idea what the going rate is. retail on those is closer to a grand now, so it at least seems like a good price if it's in decent condition

::::
i don't have much experience with wizard necks to be honest as i've never owned an MIJ RG/RG prestige. i can only speak for the wizard 2 and 3 although my main axe now has a wizard 3 but i love that guitar to bits
are you planning on customizing that thing or are you gonna keep it stock?

Re: hey ibanez people
not sure about customizations yet, I'll have to see how much i like it first. it may become a project guitar if it's in rough shape but i expect it to be alright

Re: hey ibanez people
mij rg's in good shape from that era go for 300-400 all the time so it's a good deal
wizard ii is fine imo, it's the same one on your RG350M's

Re: hey ibanez people
Bow is not a problem, just requires a truss adjustment. Warp/twist is more problematic.
study this guide on truss adjustments before you do anything. Ibanez recommends 0.3-0.5mm at the 8th fret on the high E, when the 1st fret is capo'd and the 24th is fretted. Get a feeler gauge or an action ruler, it's worth it. Pretty sure I also set up your 350's with that exact amount of neck relief, so you can easily match it to your new RG if you find a piece of cardboard/thick paper that fits the space just right
https://youtu.be/5_qZ_QGXI4w
Just remember to do small turns no bigger than 1/4 and wait a bit if you don't see any appreciable change, then try another 1/4 turn. I usually spend a day or two dialing it in just right on a new guitar to make sure it's settled.

I really need to tend to all my guitars again in such matter. Haven’t seriously played anything for a long while. My uncle is amazing with instruments and he totally fixed a cheap indonesian squire telecaster for me. It feels, plays and sounds like a 1000 dollar guitar now.

I don't think UVs have changed that match since the first iterations.

There’s a new line of these black/green ones. Mine is from around 91-93. I’m not sure what is different with the new line.
