The Sandman - Comicbook
Any body here read this comic book "The Sandman" (by Vertigo)? This is a great read, and you'll be hooked. Mature readership obviously.
This is a character from the series. Pretty fucked up if you ask me.

Abzu is big on the gaiman stuff. I've only read part of the first trade.

Re: The Sandman - Comicbook
I'm currently on my dozenth or so read through. Sandman was my introduction to Gaiman's work and the reason I named my former longstanding band Morpheus. It is one of the best comics to happen. When you finish it, read Death: The High Cost Of Living & Death: The Time Of Your Life, Sandman: Endless Nights, and then Sandman Overture.

ooooh, I forgot all about that.
I bought the first issue when it ran, but was broke ass at the time and never kept on. I liked it. I think I need to look for a tpb and read that thing proper!

2 Trades listed under the bibliography on wikipedia. It doesn't like like they are still in print though. Checked a few sites and only thing I've seen is used copies. I can keep an eye out when I hit my local shops if you are really that interested

I think he's overseeing the whole project instead of writing for 4 books at the same time

Re: The Sandman - Comicbook
well maybe if he didn't busy himself with all of this overseeing nonsense he'd have time to tackle four projects at once!

Re: The Sandman - Comicbook
I am skeptical. I will reserve judgement. Overseeing says to me that it won't be a fuck all shitfest, but it also won't be Gaiman level writing.
