it depends.

most of the time I can't stand them unless they are doing backing vocals. for example any female vocals in electronic music is an instant turn off for me and I'll immediately change the track. in metal, it's different though. like I said, backing vocals are fine. as far as female fronted goes though there are certainly some that are quite amazing like Arkona or Eluveitie or Leaves Eyes
