Any plans yet on which school you're gonna join when it's possible again?

Re: Ein Physical Fitness Thread.
Gracie system is great. But I agree. I wouldn't want to become their member.
Machado is amazing. Jean Jacques did a seminar here in Amsterdam.
With my school I can wear whatever I want and train wherever I want. Our professor and trainers even support us in visiting other gyms to broaden our horizon and gain experience that way.
(It's Brasa btw. Under Felipe Costa)

Re: Ein Physical Fitness Thread.
Just walking. I try to make at least 6000 steps a day, goal is 10000. After work I don't go to the nearest metro station, and I get out one station before the nearest to my place. I also take stairs not elevator. As soon as weather improves I'll start skateboarding again.

Walking is the one. For weight loss very under-rated.

Re: Ein Physical Fitness Thread.
for me having a separate environment helps so i have generally preferred the gym. it has also aligned well with my goals over the years (generally strength training).
it really depends on what kind of training motivates you, what your goals are, etc.

bills bro wrote: ↑28 Apr 2020, 13:21I've had my bands for about a decade, finally getting significant use out of them! I purchased from Iron Woody but like everywhere with sports equipment I am not sure what supply times are like. EliteFTS are another brand I know that is US based but I'm sure Amazon has cheaper alternatives.
I purchased some some "mini" bands from Amazon which are branded Gritin and while I bought these for rehab they are great for training biceps and shoulders because they're easy to double up and increase the resistance slightly.
You can get kits from Amazon which I've seen suggested by a bunch of instagram accounts, they allow the bands to be hooked under or around door frames but I haven't ordered as I've got enough kit to keep me going - they come under many different brand names and are probably all from the same Chinese factory but here is an example:
Bands will get you strong AF and are super versatile and great for overall joint health and flexibility. Even if you're not into powerlifting, I think they have great benefits for all people regardless of skill level. I've been lifting for a bit and follow a lot of Westside and Elitefts stuff.
totally here to geek out about anything training

i enjoy it. but it is very slow moving. i think i would never have put up with it if not for it being associated with breaking bad. i think it is leaning on this association a lot. but i guess it doesn't matter why i enjoy it, as long as i enjoy it
