Sure we eat together but I don't watch tv and don't like watching movies with her because she doesn't like the movies I like, and I don't like the movies she likes. I think since we got married four years ago we went maybe just two times to see a movie at the theater.

it is pretty normal for one's girlfriend or wife to not be into metal. of all my girlfriends only one of them was ever into metal, one was into a little bit of metal, and one like FNM only

I'm not that sensitive apart from being discreet about my drinking alcohol and beliefs on religion and politics. I just think no one here on this board would have anything in common with her. You could ask her about some tv show in the US, she's not going to know since she spent most of her life abroad. You like drinking craft beer, well you can't ask her about that. You can't talk about metal, or a Quentin Tarantino movie, or video games, or even politics since she doesn't follow those things.

The other thing is I actually have doubts about the social amiable-ness of most of the people on this board, forgive me for saying so.

I think most of you are going to be awkward as hell to meet with in real life, prone to faux pas, and just not have the awareness to interact in a way that doesn't come across as either creepy, awkward or offensive to people who just don't get it.

this has not been the experience of the three mabb meetups i have participated in

there was an impromptu liquor-fueled tribunal of one of luke's friends at a pub in london, but it was all in good fun

No. I give him good marks on attentiveness, body language, situational awareness, and emotional intelligence. Additionally, his ability to engage in meaningful conversation on a variety of subjects was positively noted.

He also handled critical feedback on his limited exposure to Danzig well and objectively, which should open up areas for improvement. Overall he has performed very well socially.

This bar we went to used to be very lively. And it should have been especially so given that we went there during Friday happy hour. Instead it was mostly empty, chairs were overturned on the tables, just a really sad, sorry sight. The food was great and I hope Skinner enjoyed that but bars and restaurants are in a bad way. I'm saying this now because it was actually the first time I went to a restaurant/since the pandemic.
