Like you said, he inspired so many great guitarplayers. Legend among legends. I grew up with his records and remember being a kid, dreaming to be able to play like him one day.

Ain’t talking ‘bout love is one the first guitar riffs I ever heard played on a guitar, by a local teenager when I was about 8 or 9, and I still think it’s among the coolest riffs ever.

Not a big VH listener, but this hard-on bearer changed the game.
