Has Australia officially lost its mind?
This is a government website in Australia... and it's not a joke I guess.
https://playsafe.health.nsw.gov.au/2020 ... -covid-19/
Luke, can you elaborate on this outrageous position by the Australian government?

Some of the clips of Australian TV news is also insane... "If you see your neighbour, don't be friendly and start a conversation."
Wow... definitely the downfall of civilisation.

No more crazy than treating an endemic disease with vaccines yet still having no medical protocol other than wait for the patient to die.

Re: Has Australia officially lost its mind?
its not treated with vaccines
and treatments for viral infections have always been almost non-existent compared to anti-bacterial ones. i dont think this was a strategic decision that people made. probably more that people havent managed to come up with many good antivirals

Re: Has Australia officially lost its mind?
The idea is to cure the pandemic with vaccines. We have treatment protocols for flu and other viruses but no consistent one for covid.
I’m saying it is stupid to depend only on vaccines when they are proving to not he as effective as we thought. We should be looking into ways to manage covid as with other diseases.

Re: Has Australia officially lost its mind?
In time they will improve the vaccine (still better than nothing) and i do think its stupid not to get one.
I don’t expect a magic anti viral (like you said that doesn’t exist) just more focus more on managing it before it gets bad. Here they don’t do that.
I don’t know how that hurts your head.
Sometimes I am not good at explaining my thinking so even though this makes sense to me maybe it is confusing I don’t know.

here's a screenshot of my official title on my timesheet (my boss thought it would be funny to mock me after seeing a real job with that title)

inquire is more formal than enquire
inquire is used in murder investigations
enquire is not used in murder investigations
enquire is hardly ever used at all

Australia is a corrupt shit hole being run into the ground by authoritarian arseholes whose corruption and lack of ethics knows no bounds. It's not the same place I once knew.
