MN weather gets nutty in nutty ways. Thankfully we don't have hurricanes or earthquakes (those seem terrifying) but the temperature differential over the span of the year can be something like 140 degrees F over the course of the year at the extremes. Get used to hearing about the windchill and the humidity depending on the season. We're all weather nerds in the upper midwest
