an espresso cup of rich, fresh, quality abzu's beverage, with a side of cold milk and hot water, with more espressos on order (will get through 2-3 in the sitting)

whole wheat pancakes, rich and grainy, fluffy, extra buttery, with a side of high quality super intense vermont maple syrup, the one that scott gave me in 2015

a small bowl of freshly cut fruit salad to finish - banana, pineapple, watermelon, apples, pear, dragonfruit, papaya, kiwi fruit, and 150ml of soda water

Not a breakfast person. I usually just have 2-3 cups of dark roast.

If I am eating, 4 eggs sunny side up with aardvark habanero hot sauce, few pieces of extra crispy bacon, 2 pancakes with butter and maple syrup. Or a bowl of chocolate cream of wheat with buttered sourdough toast. Big glass of ice water with the cawfee to drink.

fresh pour-over cawfee. i do the 40/60 method with a small pour for the initial bloom, this produces a sweeter brew that emphasizes the fruit notes

2 egg omelette with any kind of breakfast pork, sharp cheddar, green peppers and onions

some of them crispy ass homefries

and maybe a nice belgian waffle, butter and maple gets the job done there

most days though it is just a cup of yogurt

there was a hole in the wall just around the corner from my place that was run by an albanian couple, they had the best fuckin' homefries and a killer hash omelette. when i got home from london in 2019 they had a sign up that said 'temporarily closed, relocating' but they never found another location
