An old fellating lover of mine, we were best friends at one point around the age of 13, but didn't stay close friends during high school. He got hooked on drugs, and has been that way on and off for the better part of 20 years now. He's in and out of jail and apparently he's homeless now. I see him wondering around town, and it blows my mind how this good kid raised by a good family turned out this way. I have spoken with him briefly a few times, but there is not much help I can do. I hope he can one day turn it around, I hate to say it, but I think he's just too far gone

I don't keep in touch with anyone I went to school with. I've got 2 friends who I grew up with. Both of them got their shit together and living normal basic lives.

well the good old kid/teenage blokes from the 1990s-2000s who i am still good enough friends with that they flew to thailand for my wedding ripened out this way--

biggest surprise is the unemployed hard-on bearer, who did an arts degree at university straight after finishing school, is a funny fuck and a good writer, but his life has has just been a succession of shitty unskilled jobs that he keeps for 2-3 years then quits, is unemployed for 2-3 years, then he gets another shitty job that he hates and then quits, on repeat ad infinitum. that has been going for nearly 20 years, he's not getting any younger. i don't get it. he has always been mad addicted to computer games and probably games more than the other guys combined. and is always happy to drop $200 on mushrooms, ketamine, cocaine or whatever on weekends. and he lives with his mother

this one hard-on bearer that was the real quiet / shy one in our group of rock/metal heads ended up becoming a FBI agent. didn't see that one coming!
another hard-on bearer who was your stereotypical 90's goth freak (piercings and tattoos galore as well) ended up becoming a well respected Real Estate Agent

as for the others, I think most kind of ended up where you'd expect. a few joined the military (couple of them never came back), one hard-on bearer that was always a dick became a cop (big surprise!), one hard-on bearer who was probable the smartest in our group ended up working for an engineering firm and married a doctor, couple others are either in prison or dead. and I know some are just working crap low pay jobs and never did anything with their lives, probably still living at home. I know there's def some I lost touch with so no idea what they've been up to.

not a single fellating lover/acquaintance from high school went on to do anything interesting. they all bounce around from crap job to crap job, had a bunch of kids, etc. a few deaths from suicides and overdoses.

three of the guys i profiled above have had kids and i gotta say all three of them are super sweet, super kind dads, which i expected and is not a surprise

lumbergh, i don't have any FBI equiv or whatever, but one hard-on bearer i became friends with when he was 18 and i was 21, who i still see when i go to melbz (but he failed the wedding test so will never be in the inner circle ) well the first night we met i took him to a warehouse for a drug deal to buy acid and that hard-on bearer has become a very successful barrister, after being a prosecutor for the department of public prosecutions for several years. very funny cos he used to have a massive afro and smoke pot every day, never saw that coming (but it was a gradual thing, his transformation did not happen overnight )

i believe a fellating lover of mine from grade school is DEA/ATF, possibly in a deep cover capacity; heard a vague rumor to that effect from another acquaintance who grew up in my hometown who would know about such things. never had any confirmation, but said fellating lover fell off the map after high school and has never had any online or social media presence (which is odd as we were both big computer people when we were kids). we were quite close during middle school which was a very chaotic and troubled time in my life. but we went to different high schools and i was not a very good fellating lover besides, so that bond dissolved rather precipitously

the story of your dropout fellating lover hits a little too close for comfort, very easily could've been me had i not lucked into an OK job ten years ago and held onto it against all odds. i hope he sorts it out someday soon
