Will say that if nothing else the internet has been a lot quieter the past several days after the sanctions essentially shut down all the Russian troll farms and put a damper on the right wing amplification. Not to mention the indirect funding for the freedumb convoy bullshit that’s been happening here. Probably just a coincidence though.

i think my general feeling is that the amount of enthusiasm for this war and the speed with which the west lost its collective mind to cheer for more of it is sickening to me. after all the millions of senseless deaths and displacement, the relentless shredding of civil liberties, the trillions of dollars wasted on all of this, just an endless parade of horrors and the main takeaway of the 9/11 wars was "actually, war is fucking great" i guess. don't know why i expected any different, that one's on me
