I'm waiting to hear back from Starbucks, as they have me on the line for a potential shift manager position. If I get it, I'm just going to slave away for a good 6-12 months and then see if they can't transfer me to another area (probably Colorado). If I don't get it, I'll try to apply for loans and go to the local culinary school, then try to get the hell out of this place.
you taking your girlfriend?
Depends on where the relationship is at that point. I still need to get into some more philosophically deep talks with her about family, religion, government, etc. because I worry we don't share the same values when you get down to it.

How long have you been in this relationship? Those are some pretty basic topics.

Re: How is your life?
I sit around with my ass up my ass, being a self-loathing dick. Im also unemployed, and am having a hard time finding a job because my job history is shit, and these anti-biotics for my tooth have me fucked up half the time.
My current band is more or less dead, I plan on recording the album on my own when I unsard. I am currently working on a new project that has had me more excited about playing music than i've been in probably 6 or 7 months.
I wish I lived in Arizona, and I am considering joining the Air National Guard.

my life hasn't been the same since I moved out of my parents and out of my hometown. It's been better and worse.

i've heard many people say hitting 30 feels like a fresh start
I can totally agree with this. I feel way more focused on the important things in life than I was in my 20s. In a way, getting old is pretty cool.

I just started making money again after a years gap in employment. I'm also a year into my third attempt at uni ( its gonna work this time )
Just got back to my parents house for the first time in ages, I'm gonna tear up my drumkit and go meet some old friends for beers

well i'm no longer hysterically poor like i was in 2009, so that's a definite improvement. but destitution aside, there was at least some vague sense that there was still potential, all the windows of possibility felt open and one day things could work out. but in reality, i just kept on being poor until i finally landed a stable job, and now that's really all i've got.
