Re: coronavirus in this region
Yes, due to omicron variant in surrounding countries which our government wants to stay ahead of to keep as much pressure off health care and hospitals. Which I understand.
But it still sucks big time and so many business and culture sector are damaged beyond repair.

Good thing with omicron while more contagious it does appear to be less deadly since only one death reported so far.
I think lockdowns at this point are silly for something Thats endemic. They’ll keep happening though.

Mrna is new so yes.
Texas is creating a different, cheaper to make vaccine tome will tell if its more effective.
The positive: omicron (while still terrible so many sre sick) appears less deadly and many are saying this could be the end if the pandemic and start if covid being endemic.

Six of seven weeks. I'm generally okay with these lockdowns but recently I realised I do miss things, café, cinema and club. Time on my hands to think and no fun stuff

The lockdowns are so stupid. This has turnes into a normal flu but because of all the cuts in our health care by this same government for the last 10 years, we can't stress our hospitals. They are blaming the people for the overwhelming demand of medical care but its their own fault and they will never admit it. Only the tip of the iceberg but our country is currently run by criminals.

Re: coronavirus in this region
I got sick for the first time in over two years yesterday. Had to leave work early because I felt so damn fatigued and my sinuses were really starting to act up. Got a rapid test done this morning just to be on the safe side - came back negative.
Was off today but called out for tomorrow cause I still feel like shit.
Also - Meatloaf, who apparently was an antivaxxer, has died of covid

I haven’t heard of tinnitus from covid but considering covid symptoms it makes sense.
Its very frustrating, the whole thing.
