Started season 3 of Picard. So far so good. Season 2 was awful so it’s a nice bounce back.

Finished The Shield some days back. One of the best TV shows ever. One of the best series finales ever. Top 10 material, if not top 5. Hell, the finale is definitely top 3.

Correct. I feel like that show is kinda forgotten about nowadays.

Probably Forrest Whitaker and Anthony Anderson's best roles too.

I was shook when it was over. Seasons 5-7 had a super impact on me. A number of shows I've seen that I've really loved have followed a similar trajectory, such as Better Call Saul, of starting as good, turning great after a few seasons, and then ascending to masterpiece levels in the final stretch.

I tried watching The Nice Guys yesterday. It starts off ok but at around the halfway point it totally loses the plot and just sort of plods along the rest of the movie.

I wanted to like that but honestly couldn't get into it. I had to force myself finish the last ~45 min. Sean Penn's cameo was great, though.

The last of us

A bit overhyped but not bad at all
Im still a bit zombied out but the zombies are unique enough it doesn’t bore me. Everyone says the games are better. I believe that. The show us wirth a watch for fans of horrot and survival stuff.
