Not to be that hard-on bearer (and yes I know you don't like either side) but we need a landslide victory for Biden so 45 can't contest it. Because it's either Biden or literal fascism. I know you remember how far ahead Hillary was in those 2016 projections and look what happened then.

Democrats have their fair share of issues, but you know that if 45 wins again there will be irreversible damage done to the county that will take decades to reverse if we even get the chance to.

if you live in a state where your vote could potentially matter, by all means go out and do so.

plus there are other things that need to be voted upon - amendments, funding/taxes, local races, etc.

voting is a normative statement that you believe in the benefits of a democratic system over other systems of national governance

the united states is fucked, as is the world, but the US remains relatively less fucked than some other places. voting is how you keep it this way, in the comparatively slightly less fucked basket, for slightly longer. and who knows! maybe it will even get better!

you can vote and still do revolution. it's just like the bare minimum

All in all, Biden did the best a flawed candidate could do and I really feel like the Democrats are going to win this time. Rhino, apparently one of the impacts of so many people voting early (headed towards 60 mil) is that there will be a smaller possibility of a delay in us learning about who's on track to win past election day on Nov 3rd. Most states can count the votes early, but SOME can't. I'm expecting that a mostly complete picture of who the winner is will emerge on election day, and additional validation from late-counts will clarify it further probably a couple of days after it.

Additionally, many more state level polls have been conducted + they have learned to update their methodology after the polling issues of 2016. All signs show momentum in favor of a Democrat win.
