Is Greg Abbott the replacement for Tr.ump in the next elections?

Post by Grudge »

This g.uy is an ass. He's picking up where Tr.ump left off on the border wall and has among the worst tendencies on discouraging pandemic safety. Passed bills forbidding requiring proof of vaccination from businesses and encouraged a mask free re-opening well before it was safe to do so.

Ron DeSantis is the other g.uy who could take up Tr.ump's agenda on the next election. What do you think?

Depends on what area of human experience you are referring to when you ask "what's worse".

Pandemic response? Biden's administration is better in that the messaging has at least been more serious - although the vaccination train had already begun and he can't take too much credit for bringing it under control. The majority of the damage was already done during T's time, but the solution was also already in hand by then. The change in messaging came a little too late for Americans.

Borders and immigration? Partial relief and reduction of red-tape perhaps.

Peace with China and Russia? Hell no, Biden is in fact escalating the warmongering to a fever pitch.

Economy? Well, economies tend to rebound heavily after downturns regardless. There will be some tweaking of taxes, maybe he will re-impose some regulations, but for the most part Biden's just going to coast on the recovery that was going to happen no matter what. Rest-assured the economy will get better these four years. If Biden gets re-elected, by the 6-7th year when the economy has full stabilized, then the greed of the middle class will take over ("we aren't getting rich fast enough, please cut taxes") and they will vote for Republicans under whom you will see yet another recession.

The fact the media hid Biden’s ties to China was a crime. You can feel how you want but damn that was corruption at its worse. China and immigration I feel are the two largest issues facing America now that the pandemic is calming down.

I’m glad you brought up his war mongering the last thing we need us a war with Russia and or China. Im not a fan of pricy ears like in the Middle East and a war with either of them would be disaster for the world.

Immigration is very complicated snd it’s a tough issue to find a solid humane solution for. It’s not just a US issue it’s demographic shifts and cultural charges along with the anger hat inevitably causes. I personality don’t know what to think or feel but I do think it’s in humane to allow human trafficking like Biden is. He knows coyotes are taking money to take people, including children, for the cartels across our borders abd si far he’s pretty much encouraged it.

I do however want to make it clear that I do consider Biden to be objectively better than Tru.mp, but it is a low bar he had to meet. For instance, we're not seeing outspoken racism from the top anymore, haranguing individuals, goading mobs into rioting, denying the severity of coronavirus etc. A little more civilized, so that's good.

Deathsantis would be a fucking disaster worse than bag of diarrhea inside another, bigger bag of diarrhea. Mostly because I don’t believe he is a fucking moron and is quite aware of what his policies would achieve. Abbot on the other hand is a moron, probably on par with bag of diarrhea inside another, bigger bag of diarrhea. Neither would be good for this country IMO.
